Cinco de Mayo Isn’t Independence Day

After reading an Ad Age article this morning about Mexicans being quarantined in China and elsewhere, and hearing references in the media and throughout this community about Mexicans and the flu, I find it interesting that Americans will take from Mexico what is convenient for their party-purposes, while engaging in discriminatory practices. At least be consistent, folks! Cinco de Mayo is a time for celebration, but only if you appreciate the History and people of Mexico!
