Arizona Joins National Network to Reskill Workers

Achieve60AZ is joining local partners, including the Governor’s Office, Arizona community colleges, and economic development agencies to participate in the Reskilling and Recovery Network, which will help equip Arizonans with the skills they need to get back to work and connect employers with talent across the state. Arizona is one of 20 states participating in the network, which aims to help communities disproportionately affected by the economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Experts from the participating organizations will collaborate on strategies to help job seekers acquire the skills they need to adapt to the changing nature of the workplace. This coalition will help move the needle on Achieve60AZ’s statewide goal that 60 percent of Arizona adults have a postsecondary degree or certificate by the year 2030.
