Urias Communications Adds Three New Team Members
Urias Communications has recently added three new team members, demonstrating the growth of the Hispanic market and the interest clients have in tapping this burgeoning market in Arizona and throughout the Southwest.
The newest members of the Urias Communications team include:
Christine Kaercher: Christine was recently named Account Manager with Urias Communications. Christine was born in Monterrey, Mexico to a Mexican mother and an American diplomat father, and has spent her life living throughout the world, from Asia to South America and Europe. Christine’s experience and education provide the Urias Communications team with unparalleled insight into multicultural markets. She is working principally on the CALA Alliance (Celebración Artística de las Américas) Festival account, an organization and festival designed to reposition Arizona as a place of regional distinction with our ties to Latin America. Her chief responsibilities include fostering diplomatic relations with the Mexican and other Latin American consulates in Arizona, community outreach and media relations. Christine received her Bachelor of Arts from Arizona State University in Political Science and is fluent in Spanish.
Mary Verdugo: Mary Verdugo was named Senior Account Executive with Urias Communications and comes to the firm from Lopez Negrete, one of the largest Hispanic advertising and public relations firms in the nation, located in Houston, TX. Mary has been responsible for handling significant accounts, including the Arizona Lottery and NASCAR. At Urias Communications she will focus on APS and St. Joseph’s Hospital. Coming from Lopez Negrete, Mary brings a big picture perspective for clients and has extensive experience in the multifaceted world of Hispanic
communications and outreach strategies. Mary received her degree from the University of Phoenix in Marketing in 2006.
Jaclyn Lebo: Jaclyn Lebo was named Account Coordinator for Urias Communications. Jaclyn was born and raised on Tucson, Arizona and graduated with a Journalism degree from the University of Arizona. Most recently, Jaclyn was a reporter in Nebraska with KDUH-‐TV, managing multiple aspects of television reporting including story identification and writing, production and broadcast reporting. Jaclyn is managing production projects throughout the firm and assisting with public relations outreach.
