The Urias Communications team happily supported our client, United National Indian Tribal Youth (UNITY), with event production, logistic planning and on-site management culminating in successful gathering of more than 300 Native American youth attendees at the annual UNITY Midyear Conference held in Tempe, Arizona, February 14-17, 2020.
The 5-day conference offered Native youth from across the country, representing both rural and urban communities, leadership development experiences including team building, motivational workshops, wellness activities and cultural sharing.
UNITY’s mission is to foster the spiritual, mental, physical, and social development of Native American and Alaska Native youth, and to help build a strong, unified, and self-reliant Native America through greater youth involvement. UNITY’s current network includes more than 320 youth council affiliates in 36 states, representing more than 350 tribal communities.
Our team is now working on the National UNITY Conference to be held in Washington, D.C., July 3-7, 2020. The national event brings together more than 2,500 participants, making it the largest Native youth leadership focused gathering in the country.
