As the census deadline approaches, we are helping our client, Phoenix Indian Center, get the word out to Arizona’s American Indian population.
Arizona tribes and American Indian households are at a high risk of being undercounted, resulting in dire consequences for countless individuals and families. The latest numbers reported by the U.S. Census show that the majority of Arizona tribal communities have a less than 50 percent response rate; 12 Arizona tribes have a response rate of less than 25 percent, with some tribes as low as zero percent completion.
We are working with Phoenix Indian Center on a comprehensive advertising and public relations push to get the word out to the American Indian population.
