Phoenix Indian Center Sends Truckloads Of Donations To Navajo Nation

Phoenix Indian Center CEO Patti Hibbeler responded quickly with many corporate partners to provide much-needed supplies and financial support to members of the Navajo Nation – one of the country’s biggest coronavirus hot spots. As a result, more than $40,000 was raised to purchase bulk items and not one, not two, but THREE semi-trucks full of supplies were transported to the Navajo Nation in May. “We were thrilled with the response to this crisis by our partners – particularly the transport companies including Phoenix Truck Driving Institute, Southwest Truck Driver Training, and Swift Transportation,” said Patti Hibbeler. “The outpouring from the community has been overwhelming.”

Along with our own donation of supplies to support the important cause, Urias Communications was happy to work with our media partners to drive awareness about the Phoenix Indian Center’s efforts. Check out this story from Fox 10.
